The Secret Ingredient

Driving home from school one afternoon last week, I asked my son and his friend what they would like for lunch. The answer was unanimous: pizza, please!

Then started a discussion of their favourite type and also where to buy the best pizza. I was informed during their conversation that the friend's dad makes his own pizza. My son says it is the best home-made pizza he has ever tasted because Uncle Quentin adds a LOT of cheese!

And so I chirped "yes, the secret ingredient is always CHEESE!"

My son nodded to his friend in full agreement. Wanna know why?

Because Cheese sounds like 'cheeses' and that sounds the same as 'Jeeeee-sus'. Jesus. It's a matter-of-fact. (Bless his sweet little heart!)

Jesus is simply the best. And He gives us good things, like cheese and pizza.

The secret ingredient to living a satisfying life is Jesus.

In Psalms it says "taste and see that the Lord is good." Cheese is good because God is good. Our life, regardless of our situation, is good when we see God's hand in everything. Because God is FOREVER good!
