You might be thinking:
“You’re on holiday and I’m sitting high and dry”
….
Reading an old fairlady mag
I came across an article on
Adversity
Adversity our ally?
Sure.
According to this article even the
famous believe that
Nelson Mandela
“If I had not been in prison, I would not have been able to achieve the most difficult task in life, and that is changing myself”
Richard Branson
“At school, I found reading and writing hard. Back then, dyslexia wasn’t understood and my teachers just thought I was lazy. So I taught myself to learn things by heart. Now I have a very good memory and it has become one of my best tools in business.”
Some believe that
Faith = blissful life
only ignorance is bliss…
Paul clearly emphasizes the contrary-
Seems that in those days Christians also wrongly believed in prosperity.
Point is: the prosperous life of faith is one with peace; hope; love midst adversity,
not adversity-free
scriptures confirm this (have a look)
Jesus lived it
