Prov 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life
We recently had another Heart2Heart (h2h). This name so aptly describes what our ladies ministry events are all about: our hearts' desire to know God more intimately and to knit hearts with each other.
The theme this time round was "Rooted in Christ"
Trees filter the air through their leaves. When we are rooted in Christ, we bring a freshness, a purity to a polluted world. This does not happen in our "doing" but rather in our "being" (with Jesus; BEING transformed into His likeness)
The key message for the morning was: DO WE TRUST GOD?
Do we really really really trust Him?
Jer 17:7-8 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD.
He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its
roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its
leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for
it does not cease to bear fruit."
I still have to rework the oral teaching into something readable and hope to post this as soon as possible.
Herewith some photos of our wonderful morning, taken by a friend, Marike (www.marike.co.za)
