Somebody loves me. Maybe. Some bunny loves me. depends...
"Depends on what?" you may ask. Well, it depends on how many easter eggs you ate.
Sure thing, this time round I had just about no easter eggs. Nada. Nothin. Uno. Our kids are all a bit sick so we decided to stay away from the bunny man (in South Africa that would be Cadbury's the chocolate company). Far away. Its a good thing really- I dont need no more sugar... already sweet enough if you get my drift.
Only problem is, I feel deprived. A little bit less loved? argh...the bunny mania gives me the blues!
Truly though, it can be of good use: families and friends getting together to celebrate. NOT the bunny, honey. (although there are easter egg hunts and bunny shaped chocolate gifts). They celebrate Jesus and His life and death and resurrection!
What love that you will lay down your life for another!
That kinda love is for keeps. It's not the melt-in-your-mouth-but-tomorrow-forgotten type. Or a love like an energiser bunny- going strong till the battery dies (the end).
Jesus... His love stretches to the heavens. His faithfulness reaches to the skies.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
