It was after prayer that my husband casually mentioned helping out at a church in Uitenhage for three months... we've just returned from Canada (a holiday not so holiday-ish) to "spy" out the land- on our way there in May, by the way- and I was about to have our third in about three weeks. Plus my husband was, in the next three weeks doing a trip up Africa for ten days, leaving me to manage renovations at our home (we've just demolished the garage to build it bigger) with two toddlers. Sound crazy? I thought so too... but looking back I've had some of the best times of my life- really really seeing and experiencing deeper friendships, geat generosity and awesome moments with my kids and hubby (husband).
The ant hill might seem like a HUGE mountain from close by, but once you've stepped back into the cleft, in the shelter of the most High then it disappears altogether.
Psa 97:5 The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the
earth.
