Beauty and the Best

Last friday (a week ago), my hubby took me to watch Beauty and the Beast at Montecasino. It was such a spoil! Lov'd every moment of it!








Beauty and the beast is my fav!
Grand adventure
A Gorgeous Castle
Daring swordfights
Dashing heroes
-and the best- HAPPY ENDINGS

however, even this fairytale is not without heartache:
A misunderstood beast
A misinterpreted girl
A manic villan
A missing mother

all the characters played their part so well (except, perhaps for the beast's genteel growl)and the props were incredible! But what stood out the most for me was Belle's smile- genuine and in a way, naive... (trusting?). She made the best of a bad situation, and it turned out to be a fairytale!

Don't be bowled over by your situation, what our God have in store for us is better than the best! What we behold as beauty on earth turns out to be the beast's (much more) uglier stepsister (think Cinderella's stepsis x100) compared to the things of Christ. Dream! Dare! In the end... behold true Beauty; love peace and joy far more than just being happy.
