Death on the Doorstep

My brother is a soldier-
Fighting in the war in Afghanistan.

Yesterday I read on skynews.com that a British soldier died.

Our husbands fight wars everyday of their lives- rugged soldiers of the cross.

And sometimes in battle, they are wounded.
Am I the nurse my husband needs?

Nurses don’t tell patients what to do- they just do it. Nurses don’t complain about getting bloody and working night shift. Is my home a place of safety for the man I love - a place of PEACE? Or does my man face even greater explosions and eruptions at home...
