In this excerpt of Habakkuk, the prophet is expecting an answer to his complaints of the violence and victories of the Chaldeans mentioned in the previous chapter. In Hab 2:3-20, God answers him...
“Watch post’: place of duty, position. Being a mom is part of our placement for this season.
“Look”: (verb) we have to take initiative. We have to take action. Yearn for Christ. Station ourselves in Christ. He is our fortress; a strong tower.
Be expectant.
“Write”: having been with Christ, revelation reflects in all we do and say… leaving a legacy for our children.
Psa 78:4 We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. Psa 78:5 He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, Psa 78:6 that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, Psa 78:7 so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments
